Hello, my name is Alan Keahey and TruViz Photo is my photography company in Naperville, Illinois. I work on many different types of photography, however portrait photography, sports photography and nature photography are my main action areas. I have a growing customer base, and my work has been published in national magazines.
In my other lines of business I specialize in computer graphics and visualization research (at national research labs, a Bell Labs spinoff, and eventually my own high tech software R&D company) and mobile graphics apps (PhotoXform is an app I created for sculpting photographs on the iPad). A common thread among all of these interests is the effective use of visual media to convey complex and qualitative insights. Photography for me is perhaps the most direct way to convey the more important things in your life that are often fleetingly intangible: the smile of a child, the interactions of a family, the challenge of sports action and the thrill of succeeding.
