Gracie Gold is a Chicago area figure skater who just won the 2012 Junior Ladies National Championship. I had the privilege of photographing Gracie’s skating during an ice show last year, and she put in a beautiful performance. The baton-ribbon created a lot of additional visual interest, however the skating would have stood as well on it’s own without the prop.

Gracie has had a pretty awesome run of her own, winning gold in all seven of her events this season.  Congratulations, Gracie, on a great finish at Junior Nationals, and good luck at Worlds and with the rest of your future career!
